Room 2 is at the western end of the front corridor.

In 1966, Room 2 was the location for the installation of the Ferranti Pegasus computer. The store room on the right was the technicians work-shop and store room, and just to the left (just before the exit door) was a caretaker's room, which housed the massive alternator required.
